Welcome, Friends, to our website. This exciting addition to our portfolio is intended to keep you up to date with important information that affects the historically and culturally important buildings at St Bartholomew's Hospital. It is a celebration of the wealth of architectural and historical treasures that Barts has to offer but is also intended to keep you, as a friend or just a visitor, up to speed with the vital work that is required to rescue these buildings and their contents and preserve them for future generations - all in time for our 900th Birthday celebrations!

The Chairman of The Friends, Sir Marcus Setchell, will provide regular items to keep you abreast of changes and the progression of this important work - please read his regular report. Of course, the plans that are afoot will not come cheaply, so we ask you to spread the word, to support us by becoming a Friend or by visiting our just giving page and staying in touch on our Facebook and Twitter pages (#BartsFriends) - after all, that is what Friends do!
